Meet The Captain And Cruise Coach As They Map Florida’s Ports, Caribbean Itineraries, And Group Travel Perks

Multiple Season 1 Episode 1

Send us a text

The gangway drops, the music hits, and we kick off a cruise-driven, faith-forward journey from Port Canaveral with one goal: make your time at sea effortless, joyful, and unforgettable. We introduce our duo—Captain Jesse and the Cruise Coach—and dive right into how to choose the best Florida homeport, from Miami’s buzz to Tampa Bay’s Skyway views, and why that first decision shapes your itinerary, budget, and onboard rhythm.

We unpack the big Caribbean question—East, West, or South—and explain what each route delivers, from Cozumel tacos and Cayman reefs to longer Southern escapes like Aruba. Then we zoom in on the ships themselves: Utopia, Icon, and Star of the Seas redefine “floating city” with aqua theaters, two-tier promenades, solariums, and spa sanctuaries that rival land resorts. You’ll hear smart, actionable tips: Boardwalk and Central Park balcony hacks on Oasis-class ships, the best ways to catch the AquaTheater (including from your own balcony), and complimentary breakfast windows that most guests miss.

Competition is reshaping the industry for the better. We talk MSC’s rise, why dry docks matter, and how more than fifty new ships on order will push design, dining, and entertainment forward. Private islands are leveling up too—think Perfect Day at CocoCay and Carnival’s Celebration Key—making short sailings feel like full-on resort getaways. If you’re a first-timer, we demystify gratuities, inclusions, and what “turn off your brain” truly means once you step aboard.

Most of all, we’re building community. Join our hosted group cruises to get concierge-style planning: curated excursions, dining guidance, show reservations, and flexible tracks for families, foodies, and adventurers. Link two ports in one vacation with Brightline rail, or bookend your sailing with Cocoa Beach sunsets and Orlando theme parks. We keep it service-first and faith-centered, closing with a prayer for safe voyages and lighter hearts.

Subscribe, share with your cruise-curious friends, and tell us where you want to sail next. Your next great story might be waiting just beyond the pier—come aboard and let’s chart it together.

SPEAKER_02:

Get your drift of every night because it's getting hot up It's time to cruise all day night cruise day Straight dripping dripping dripping O'Cruz that's how we didn't we cruise it straight dripping dripping dripping by cruise Yes please to palm trees Man that is fun little tree what we got going on I hope you guys enjoyed that way welcome this is the very first Beer Pressure Forecast I am one of your co-hosts my name is Captain Jesse and with me in a studio you will find the cruise coach.

SPEAKER_01:

What's up, Vacation Nation? That's right. I am the Cruise Coach. We are right here in the People's Port. That's right, Port Canaveral, Florida. You have the captain ridden the ship right down the center. Nothing better, nothing more exciting.

SPEAKER_02:

Exactly, Rich. And uh, you know, we we've been behind the scenes trying to get this uh show launched for a while. Uh real quick backstory. I don't want to dull you know our audience on the on the first couple minutes, but honestly, when I say this has been in the works for a minute, um we had a couple uh episodes banked back in 19 in 2020 before the big shutdown with COVID and everything else. And uh it wasn't really until I found the cruise coach to where I said, you know what, I need to resurrect the uh the portcast. And with some uh help and some you know a lot of brainstorming recently, uh we've decided uh we're gonna call it the peer pressure portcast. I originally was thinking Space Coast portcast, but that that limits. Even though we're here on the Space Coast, we're talking all cruises, all ports, all you know, all of Florida and beyond. So no matter where you're listening from, uh it's gonna be relevant for you, okay? So again, welcome. Thank you so much for tuning in. And uh boy, do we have a lot to start? So we're we're we're gonna just begin with who we are. So, you know, the cruise coach.

SPEAKER_01:

Who are you, buddy? What's up, Vacation Nation? Like I said, my name is the cruise coach. Uh, I am here in the Counttown County 321. I am part of Team Limitless Travel. We are the affiliate of Maluna Travel out of Charleston, South Carolina. Uh Blake and Josie Spa, two phenomenal humans. Uh, the Lord has blessed me with as part of the team. Uh, like I said, Team Limitless Travel. Uh, we do vacations, so it's not just cruising. Obviously, yes, I am the cruise coach. Uh, I've been doing travel honestly since about 2022. I've been a head football coach. I've been in sports my whole life. And in uh 22, the Lord blessed me with uh having the opportunity to jump into the travel business. I've always been on the fields, the athletic arenas, and I was in Bimini, and Team Lentless Travel was started in Bimini, Bahamas, in a pool. Met a gentleman who then later on transitioned uh out of the business and then uh he went ahead and gave me the number of Blake over at the wonderful Maluna Travel. Like I said, they are affiliates. He is the best land guy in the business. So if you want to land business or you want to go anywhere land-wise, he is the tour master. Um Universal is his home. And like I said, we have you covered. Like the captain was alluding to, whether it's Port Canaveral, which is our favorite port, obviously, we are it's in our own backyard. You have the port of Miami, which is the world's busiest port, and it is so busy and so glitzy, there's nothing like South Florida. Right down the street from the port of Miami, you have the Port Everglades, which is located in Fort Lauderdale, again, super, super close to uh the airport, and it's extremely fast paced. And another hidden gem is right over on the west coast of Florida. That right, that's right, it is the port of Tampa Bay, and again, it is right there on the Gulf Side. It is smaller, but it is growing, and a very, very cool feature is if you cruise out of the Tampa Bay port, you actually go underneath the bridge, and it is absolutely amazing.

SPEAKER_02:

But yeah, that Sky Bridge.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, it is correct. Yep, yep. Yep. So last but not least, the People's Port. That's where we are located, right here in Port Canaveral, Florida. It is on the east coast of Central Florida, near Orlando, about 45 minutes from the Orlando airport, and we have three, that's right, three airports right there. So if you want to fly into Orlando, Sanford, or Melbourne, we got you covered with 3P. That's right, the peer pressure port cast.

SPEAKER_02:

I like it. Good intro. Yeah, going back to the Sky Bridge, um, you know, of course you're going to the Gulf, which most likely you're going to head out further into the Gulf, right? Towards Mexico. Yeah, so Western Western Caribbean. So you may do um, I don't know, Belize or of course, you know, Mexico and Cozumel. You may go to um even uh Cayman's. Yes, sir. You may go, I don't know if I guess Jamaica would be considered Western Caribbean as well, Ocho Rios or That's actually considered Eastern.

SPEAKER_01:

Is it really? And and really you have the the big three, right? Caribbean uh studies show that if you travel to the Caribbean, right, there's 72% of all ocean cruises are to the Caribbean.

SPEAKER_03:

Right.

SPEAKER_01:

And you have the eastern, you have the western, and another hidden gem is the southern Caribbean.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, we're gonna talk about that as well because I'm not sure how many boats usually you have to have like something longer than three, four-day cruises to get that far. Yes, sir. Uh but then you are opened up to um, gosh, let's count all of them. You have Aruba down there, you have Trinidad Tobago down there, you have um what's the other uh the big one down there? You would know more than I would. But we'll we'll figure that out. Because again, I I have yet to even consider the Southern Caribbean.

SPEAKER_01:

It's you know, and that's the thing, is is cruising, obviously, it's a lifestyle. You have the cruise culture, we're getting ready to s to set the cruise culture culture uh on fire. Yes. Uh and and you know, I'm just so excited, uh Jesse, you know, the captain, we met the just just getting ready to, you know, you're gonna be behind the wheel. I'm gonna go ahead and and and be the the the propulsion, right? The uh create that peer pressure. And you know, it it's just it's so so important, right? Because five years ago as a football coach, there was no such thing. We didn't talk about mental health, right? And and really, I truly believe there is no greater feeling than just stepping foot on a cruise, you and your family, you and your significant other, you and your group. You know, group travel is makes up 20% of the business. Uh, and again, it's not really a business. We don't have to sell you anything. Right. Our job, the captain, the cruise coach, our job is to ultimately educate and advise. That's obviously what we do with Team Limitless Travel. You know, we just want to be able to serve, serve our local community, serve our local church. Uh again, serving the Lord is something we we definitely it's a flagship to us. And and again, it's it's not about me, it's about we. And it's not about us, it's about him. No matter what you what you listen to, whether you're on thecruisecoach.com, whether you're on prescription, the number two paradise.com, you know, it's so much we you know, call the doctor because ultimately all we want to do is serve, get you to your next beautiful destination, and again, for you to come back ranting and raving, tell your friends, and that is our job solely to create that cruise culture mentality, and there's no vibe better than peer pressure portcast.

SPEAKER_02:

Amen to that, brother. And uh, and yeah, certainly we are uh there's big cruisers in general. So whether it's a you know husband-wife kind of you know romantic getaway, if it's family, uh of course, you know, here at Port Canaveral, we are home to uh Disney. They they started here, they're still with us. Uh and I mean if you haven't been on a Disney boat, it's it's it is it's magical. It's magic, it's magic at sea. Uh it's it's quite incredible. And you know, one thing again with the the the cruise uh vacation is when you get on that ship, it's you don't have to worry about a thing. You don't have to lift a finger. Now there are some things maybe you want to enjoy, so excursions and some other uh food amenities, maybe an extra charge, but everything else is inclusive. All the shows, all the all the entertainment, there's really nowhere you can't go. Of course, if you're gonna go to a casino, you're gonna have to come out of pocket and and some other uh you know upgraded uh adventures. But for the most part, once you book your your cabin, everything else is is is included. So it's a one of those things where you just turn off the mind, keep the wallet, you know, at home, just about, you know, bring your passport, of course. But it's one of those things where you just go away and you don't have to think about cooking, you don't have to think about cleaning, you don't have to think about where where you're going. I mean it's it's there's so many different uh options as far as uh eating venues, drinking venues, and so forth. And uh it it really is a just a w a way to just escape ordinary, you know, just get out there and uh and yeah, maybe maybe even have a little bit of uh uh an awakening, you know, either spiritually or or whatever else, because uh there's nothing really between you and the sky, the stars are brighter, everything's you know, the the air is cleaner, it's just it's a whole different experience.

SPEAKER_01:

I love that, Jesse. You know, and it's so so important because it's not just the cabin, right? There's there's so many different cabins in the experience itself, right? You and and now, for example, the utopia of the seas, that's obviously our biggest um ever everybody talks about it. You know, it it is hands down the world's biggest weekend. And and Royal Caribbean knows what they're doing, right? There's four flagship cruise ships here in Florida. Obviously, you have the busiest port with Miami. It's the biggest ship in the world, is the icon of the seas. That's a seven-day cruise tastic adventure, Eastern and Western Caribbean. You also have the wonder of the seas, that's a three or four-night cruise-astic adventure that goes to the Bahamas, usually Nassau and um Coco Cay, which is unbelievable if you've never been there.

SPEAKER_02:

What they've done to that island is remarkable. They like the biggest pool in the northern hemisphere.

SPEAKER_01:

Actually, actually, Carnival Celebration Key just won up them. No way.

SPEAKER_02:

Yes, sir.

SPEAKER_01:

I didn't hear about that.

SPEAKER_02:

I haven't been to the Carnival Island.

SPEAKER_01:

Yeah, neither have I. And it's actually a Grand Bahama. You know, so so again, it's competition is good if you allow it to be. And and the one thing I'll say, you know, obviously, Miami, we talk about competition. People don't know this, but uh for for a couple months, Port Canaveral, aka the People's Port, right here in our own backyard, Jesse, that was actually the busiest cruise port in the world. Right. In the month of March alone, there was 98,200,000 people that went through there. That's a lot of people. A lot.

SPEAKER_02:

You know, it's funny is I I had asked um one of the uh the commissioners or or what you may call them over at the Port Uh Canaveral Authority, who manages that port and all the act activity there. And and trust me, there's a lot. Besides cruising, there's aerospace and all kinds of fun things, unique to nowhere else in the world, right? And and I and I asked him a question. I says, you know, we're all we're kind of in b like going back and forth between Miami. It's a fun rivalry. But who is getting the most passengers? Who is the busiest port? Because I feel like you know, we're always trading numbers, and he replied simply like, Well, we released our numbers and then they released theirs. So it may be artificially inflated just to keep them in, but we're it's a it's a constant battle. What I what what it comes down to is we have a lot of berths in our port. Yeah. At any given time, there could be six boats at at berth, taking all passengers, unloading passengers, fueling up, whatever it is, right? Getting pr provisions. And it's pretty identical to uh Port of Miami. At any given time, there's like five, six, you know, ships again, same thing, crews, putting uh getting all the trash off, putting more fuel on, putting, you know, more crew and and and passengers on. I mean, it's a it's a whole economy. Like if you if you don't if you if you don't know the inside of of of a a port's uh business, it is um it's just it it what's great is it's uh usually uh very condensed, meaning you know the traffic has to be um super timed, right? Everything has to work in or like an orchestra.

SPEAKER_03:

Right.

SPEAKER_02:

So many moving parts. Ship shipments coming in, shipments going out, people coming in, provisions coming in, everything's coming in. And usually these ports are not big places, right? Right? And so everything is getting done. It's it's a it's a marvel to watch, it really is. But the fact is that these passengers get to go on, and at most times it's a it's a full boat. I mean, most most sailings have full capacity, and that means on some of these large boats, there's 10,000 people on a boat, yeah, crew and passengers combined. Yes, sir. That's a s that's a floating city.

SPEAKER_01:

Right, 100%. You know, you just hit the nail on the head right there. Uh obviously, we just talked about you know the icon of the seas, the world's largest cruise ship, and the wonder of the seas, which is the second class, which is the Oasis class, Jesse. However, we have those same size ships right here in our own backyard. Yeah, and again, competition is good, even in your own business. Uh Royal Caribbean, I believe, is 28 cruise ships right now. So, right now in our own backyard, probably the the best of the best, the best three or four night cruise tastic adventure you can find anywhere in the world is the Utopia of the Seas, 6,800 passengers at max capacity, 5,668 passengers at double capacity, 2,800 state rooms. The cool part of that ship is of those 2,800 state rooms, 1,900 are balconies. And the way the ship is built is it's built like a puzzle. Those ship those cabins are built off-site and put in one at a time. Uh so again, you know, there's 18 decks, you just hit the nail on the head. There's 2,290 crew. Um, it is 23600,000 gross registered tons, 1,188 uh feet in length. You know, again, there's so many complimentary things. You hit the you you talked about, you alluded to it earlier. Everything is already there. You don't have to spend one dime besides gratuity, uh about$1,850 per person per day and$21 uh per day for the sweets, other than what you spent when you initially get on the cruise ship. Obviously, we definitely recommend a little extra gratuity. So that's the utopia. And then lastly, the tide, right? So again, you you talked about going back and forth. You have the icon of the seas in Miami, and you have the icon two, which is the star of the seas. Absolutely amazing. We did a four-night head. I I literally would would love to live on it the rest of my life. Um, and again, that you're talking 6800 passengers at max capacity, and it is absolutely bonkers. There's nothing like it. It has two levels of a promenade, Jesse. I'm telling you, Captain, we got to figure out how to get on there and have a port pressure port cast from that ship.

SPEAKER_02:

So, yeah, and and what's great about this podcast um is that not only do we are we focusing on you know all these ports, all these cruise ships, all these ports of call, but we're actually going to be inviting our audience on some of the cruises with us. And where we will definitely be doing remote uh podcasting uh from the boat. I've already done it once, and uh so we're gonna incorporate that, but also you're gonna be hanging out with us. And that means all the right excursions, all the right dining options, all like we're you know, come joining us on a on a cruise vacation, you're gonna have all the hacks. Even if so, even if it's your first time, you have no idea what to do. We're gonna make sure that you see the right shows, you eat the right food, you get off at the ports of call, and we go to uh a hand-picked, right? So it's like a concierge, hand-picked uh group of businesses. So from shopping to food and dining, we're gonna be leading the charge, we're gonna be out there. Um, and we probably you know, there may be a time where we have to split up. I may take some people snorkeling, you may take some people to uh you know an off-site resort uh where there's some other amenities for for families and so forth. So there's gonna be something for everybody involved, there's gonna be plenty of choices, and uh and you won't be led astray. You'll be you'll you'll be uh you'll have your hand held as much as you want, or you'll be able to to go free uh lone wolf as much as you want as well, depending on your cruise experience and whatever you desire.

SPEAKER_01:

You know, Jesse, it's it you that is so true. And and the thing that's crazy is cruising initially changed. So obviously, we know you started Space Coast Portcast COVID, and now post-COVID, right? We have to understand that even the cruise ships have changed. Right. The OASIS class and the icon class are gigantic. Again, competition is king, competition is phenomenal. MSC, which is another cruise line that's that's really they've really, you know, put the hooks into the cruise industry. They're taking a lot of the clientele from Carnival, they're taking a lot of the clientele from Royal Caribbean. So again, the only person who benefits is the vacation nation. So it's not obviously just the cruise line making the money, it's better experiences. Right. The cruise ships are now starting to be the destinations themselves. We have so many clients with port pre peer pressure portcast that they don't even get off the ship, and that's okay. And like you said, you want to stay on the ship, you want to do a slot pool with us?

SPEAKER_02:

That's what I'm saying. Yeah, so if you don't have a passport, it's recommended because most people like to get off the boat, get a little culture, you're in a new island, you've never been there, but I don't think you need a passport for Coco Key, right? Because that's that's a a you know, and all and by the way, all of these cruise lines have their own private private islands. So MSC, uh Norwegian. We just heard that carnival's is is you know going back and forth with the perfect day Coco K from uh Royal Caribbean International, right? So all these cruise lines have their own little island out there in in in the Bahamas, and it makes the experience just, you know. So you get you get off land, you know, you get to uh you know, touch the sand, feel the breeze in your face, you know, uh swim in the the ocean and and do all the things, right? But it's as much or as little as you want. If you just need the vacation, my God, some of the spas on board are some of the best well-run spas in the world, the most luxurious uh appointments, the most you know, so uh facials, if you're thinking about the uh uh clay wraps, uh if you're doing uh salt glow, you know, they they have all the sp the spa uh uh coudremen, you know. Like whatever you you get at uh a spa of your choice, you know, at your favorite spa in your hometown, trust me, that onboard spa is gonna blow you away. The fitness center. So again, you could go as hard, you go as mild, you could be crazy, you could be lazy. It's it's your experience.

SPEAKER_01:

You know, Captain, it sounds like you've been on a cruise ship and might know a little bit about that side of things.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, yeah. So uh full disclosure, uh I spent four months um living and working on a cruise ship many years ago, many years ago, and we did three and four days. Uh so I was in Nassau twice a week, I was in uh Key West uh once a week, Miami twice a week, uh and the private island twice a week. And so I got to know all the decks. Let's just put it that way. I'd work on the top deck and I'd sleep on one of the bottom decks. And uh, and trust me, the experience, I mean the crew, they love the passengers. We absolutely love to see your faces coming on and the but the hugs going off, you know. And so it's just like high five, I don't know you, but we're gonna be friends real quick, you know, and and before you know it, in in three or four days you build relationships. It's one of the most gratifying things ever. And uh, and having done massage therapy, of course, I was in one of the better places, and typically spas are that high deck, you know, that there's a solarium, there's usually an adult-only um uh area where you could actually just relax, you can unwind, and uh, and typically it's in the in the aft of the boat, which is towards the the stern or or um where you know above the engines, so to speak. So there's many different parts of a boat, but all those luxurious features are typically um on the on you know, aft and and really high, you know, one of the top decks. So beautiful views back there. You just see the you know where we where where the boat has left, and if you go towards the bow, uh you see where the boat's going, and uh and it's just it's remarkable. And especially on these boats, because they're so much more elevated than on the boats that I was serving on 25 years ago. You're on these boats that you know, I think we went up to like nine or ten decks. Now you have like what 14, 15 something decks. It's ridiculous.

SPEAKER_01:

18 total decks. 18 decks. I can't on the that's so high.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah. That is so high.

SPEAKER_01:

You know, and and the best part is so many of our clients, so many of our clients with team limits travel and the cruise coach.com say, hey, I want to do an all-inclusive. Yeah. Well, guess what? You don't even have to go to an airport to do an all-inclusive. You know, uh, we call it the sweet, sweet life. Uh you you talked about the solarium, there are solarium suites, there's a royal family suite with a slide that's two stories, uh, up to$95,000 per person. Sure. Not all the time. You know, but but again, if if there's if there's something you want to do for you and your family, Royal Caribbean, MSc, Carnival, Norwegian, Princess, Celebrity, there's so many cruise ships out there for you. And the best part is, you know, the business pro is prospering, Jesse.

SPEAKER_02:

Right.

SPEAKER_01:

And there are 56 ships on order right now in the industry at one to two billion dollars per ship. Wait, how many? 56.

SPEAKER_02:

56 boats in production. And there's I know with at least with RC, Royal Caribbean, they're always dry docking, right? That's when they get the boat out of the water three this year. And they refurbished it. Right. There's so three are being dry docked, refurbished, updated, upgraded, the whole thing. And uh, and so yeah, these these boats will remain in service. So that 1.2 billion, that that 3 billion, however much these boats are costing nowadays, trust me, they're worth it. And when you see the interior of these boats, I and if you haven't watched, by the way, quick plug for my man, the cruise coach, find him on TikTok. This guy is torn. I watch his TikToks. He's my buddy, he's my co-host. I will watch his TikToks because I have yet to be on some of these boats that he has the privilege of being on. And uh, and you go, and he and he's securing all these, you know, uh rooms and he's he's booking blocks of rooms for all these families and engagements. Group, like huge groups, and he's got all these um so he's on the boat like all the time, and he just doing the tour, you know, with his phone, and if you see some of these things like the the kinetic, it's like a sphere, and you're walking up these stairways and the and the It's called the Pearl.

SPEAKER_01:

The Pearl, yes. And that's on the star of the season, the icon of the sea is both of them the largest cruise ships in the world.

SPEAKER_02:

And by the way, like these are things I don't I don't I don't I haven't seen at a theme park. I like honestly, I don't see them in beautiful hotels. Like these are things exclusive just to being at sea. Being at sea gives you a whole nother world of vacationing because you do you don't even have to leave the boat with onboard ice skating rinks, onboard uh static wave, you know, the the aqua theater. Yeah, the aqua theaters. Yeah, these people are doing aerobatics. Anyway, it's breathtaking. It's dinner and a show over and over and over again. Yes. Yes, that's that's I mean the best way to describe it.

SPEAKER_01:

You know, and and it you hit the nail on the head earlier. It truly is a floating city. Uh again, the utopia, the aqua show. We talked about the the balconies, right? The old school ocean view balcony is hands down many people's favorite. But I'll tell you, I have I have a cost-effective balcony.

SPEAKER_02:

A hack?

SPEAKER_01:

A hack. Is this hack number one? Episode number one? Number one from thecruisecoach.com. And it is what's called a boardwalk balcony. So there are three types of balconies on the ship. You have the old school ocean view balcony, um, and then you have two inside-facing balconies. The first one is Central Park Balcony, very similar to Central Park, New York. A lot of greenery. Uh it's classical music throughout the night. That's where a lot of the specialty dining restaurants are located. And then my personal favorite, a few dollars less, is the boardwalk balcony. It's got a Coney Island theme. It has a carousel for the kids, Johnny Rockets. Uh, you can have breakfast on all the Oasis class ships. Hack number two, inside hack number one, is Johnny Rockets for Breakfast. It's included, it's complimentary on all the Oasis class ships. Again, make sure you know the time. Sometimes it's 9:30, sometimes it's 8:30 that you close or that they close, because it depends on whether you're going to a destination or you're at a day at sea. Then obviously you've got playmakers, which is the sports bar, absolutely unbelievable. You have Sugar Beach, you have the Abyss, which is a slide that goes down 10 stories, not water slide, but slide.

unknown:

Wow.

SPEAKER_01:

And the best is when you get the last two rooms on the boardwalk balcony that overlooks the Aqua Show. You have the best show from your balcony, and again, like you said, it's complimentary, it's included. So we always suggest do one time from your balcony and one time walk down, even if you haven't reserved it, walk down, wait in the line, you can still get in. And I'm telling you, that is the show of shows, and it is called 80s Aqua 2.

SPEAKER_02:

Amazing. I can't wait to travel with this guy. Just just so you know, he's like a walking encyclopedia. And um, and what's what's really fun, you know, because we have so many ideas. One of the fun things, we already talked about Port of Miami. We have this new train called Bright Line, and and I threw this at the cruise coach a little bit. I'm like, what if we design a cruise package that incorporates both ports? Hear me out. So what's great about this is without renting a car, right? You you get off the the the boat in uh the ship in Miami, right? You're like, that was a great three or four days. And maybe it went to one uh area of the Caribbean, and then you take the Bright Line, just a quick Uber ride away from the port of Miami, you hop on the the Brightline train, we'll pick you up here in Orlando until we actually have our own uh terminal uh here uh on the space coast, which is in pr like in production in the thoughts. I I I believe we're like We're thinking about I believe we're like twenty-four months away. Because I think they've already, you know, I think I think there's all the things that are pointing at at getting developed. And once we have that stop here locally, it's gonna be get off the ship, bright line, get off the bright line, Uber to another ship, and and the we're gonna we're just we're gonna be again, this is maybe an industry first, but we're gonna be customizing uh and tailoring vacations just for you and your family, like nobody else has. Uh those are things to come. Once we uh can have wrap our round around our head around it, we're gonna be mentioning it and and and providing those things for you as well. And another tip with with hanging out with us, we have some great relationships, and I'm gonna lean on uh the cruise coach more for this, but we have the hotels uh on our side in in town. So what does that mean? Well, you can bookend your vacation. You can hang out with us in Cocoa Beach, right? You could do all the sand and surf stuff and Ron John and do all the shopping here, go on the the cruise, enjoy your cruise vacation, and then come back with us and then decompress after the cruise, get all your your your thoughts in order, and then before you head home, you're kicking off the sand uh from enjoying you know a couple more days at the beach. So we could really customize and tailor all of these experiences for you. You just gotta let them know how big you want to go. You know, how how how deep entrenched do you want to get uh into our local uh economy and everything the space coast has to offer? Again, you could this bookend also includes Orlando if you want to stay at a theme park for a couple days, then the then the cruise ship, and then more uh theme parks. Well, however you want this to be you know to look for you and your family, my goodness, we're we're ready to accommodate. So that I'm just throwing that out there.

SPEAKER_01:

Exactly. Thank you, Captain, and I'll tell you vacation nation, we simply hope you're ready. Yes, okay. Because this can go wherever you guys want to go. Yeah, right? Couple different ideas. Uh Jesse just alluded to it right there. You want to take a seven-day go to the Western Caribbean, jump on the bright line, get off in Orlando, we'll go ahead and scoop you up. Uh Team Limless Travel and uh and again the cruise coach, we're we're here for you, the TLT family. Yeah, right. You want to get your hair done, nails done. We have a connect there. Amara, salon, and spa. It's only minutes from you know 520. Uh again, you have 520 and 520. twenty eight, both will lead you right there to uh to the the the port, the people's port, aka port canaveral, and it just doesn't stop there. Right. Again, you alluded to it earlier. Nassau. Everybody, the number one knock of any of the areas, people are saying, ah, I've already done Nassau. Well, just wait. Not with us. Because, yes, that's true. And Royal Caribbean, Paradise Island's getting ready to happen in Nassau. That'll be ready the 25th of December. I saw that the other day. That's gonna be uh kind of an all-inclusive um day adventure. So you'll tinder over from the ship to that area. Paradise Island, yeah. Yep, to Paradise Island. You have Coco K Mexico coming. You have another spot in Mexico coming, you have a spot in the South Pacific, and again, not only is Royal Caribbean doing the largest cruise ships in the world, two of them, they're doing a discovery class, which they haven't even said how big those ships are gonna be. If I'm guessing, I think they're gonna redo those smaller ships, the grandeur, the serenade, those 74 um thousand, you know, pound ships. And uh again, it's gonna be what's next. And the best part is just wait.

SPEAKER_02:

Just wait indeed. Um, real quick, I just want to visit our sponsor, and uh and we'll be right back with more. Uh, don't go anywhere.

SPEAKER_01:

We appreciate you, vacation nation. That's right. This is the cruise coach here with the captain, and we are peer pressure portcast. Again, we just want to simply invite you on this journey with us. Uh, today is day one of the peer pressure portcast right here in Port Canaveral, aka the People's Port. And we have talked about the ports, the four main ports here in the state of Florida. We have talked about Nassau in the Caribbean. We've talked about the Eastern and Western Caribbean, and again, it just doesn't stop there. This is the cruise coach and the captain, and we simply want to talk about follow us and we'll take you somewhere. That's right. And that somewhere can be anywhere, and it doesn't just have to be on a cruise ship.

SPEAKER_02:

Well done. And again, that was a word from the cruise coach. You can find them at the cruisecoach.com. And uh and and correct me if I'm wrong, but people can start to uh browse cruises right from your website, correct?

SPEAKER_01:

So there's if you simply just fill out the the form, okay, we can go ahead and get you, you just kind of gives us a general idea, you know, and uh there's so many, so many things right exciting things happening. The cruise coach was just in the studio. Uh so you might have heard the song.

SPEAKER_02:

They heard they heard a song in the beginning, and uh and that's gonna be our theme song from here on out. It's gonna be an outro uh and intro.

SPEAKER_01:

And hats off, that's Jason Noon of Garden House Studios, an old friend of ours. I've known Jason since we were 10 years old. That's right, oh galley little league. And again, the power of relationships, it's so, so true. Yeah, we are here in 321, aka the countdown county, and it's so, so important because the relationships you build today, you never know where that's going to take you down the road. Jesse and I met through uh again a uh a common acquaintance who has done a podcast here at Space Coast Podcast Studios right here in Melbourne, and uh we are so so excited for what's next. Uh again, whether it's cruising, whether it's all inclusives, whether it's a combination of both, whether it's a surf and turf on Disney, you could go five days at the theme park, we'll get you squared away with the tourmaster, and five days on a ship, ten days for your family, unheard of in the industry, and that's a first from peer pressure portcast.

SPEAKER_02:

You you heard it here first from the cruise coach. And again, there's gonna be um some things that we will develop. So the more you tune in, the more you'll hear about all these kind of cool things uh in the pipeline. Our wheels are spinning. They don't stop. And they yeah, it never stops. It's 24-7. Like, what else can we just be over the top with? And we have exciting uh swag and other uh uh apparel and and other things coming on. So you're you're gonna you're gonna be outfitted. So be before you even get the cruise, you're gonna be sent all kinds of like really cool things. You'll have options to upgrade to other things from beach towels to flip-flops, you name it, everything to make your uh vacation at sea. Did you just say flip-flops? Yeah. Is that a hashtag flip-flop Friday?

SPEAKER_01:

It's your greatest day of the week.

SPEAKER_02:

It is your hashtag, yes. Flip-flop Friday. Uh something that I know every Friday you you have a post on TikTok and uh and it's hashtag flip-flop Friday. And Instagram and IG, yes. And Facebook. And you can follow them there. And YouTube. So this, of course, podcast will be everywhere you listen to podcasts. Yes. Uh, but you're also gonna have a the video portion that we're recording, and that's gonna be uh probably on our Facebook page as well as the YouTube channel, and in addition to that, we're gonna we're gonna uh have our little tidbits, little takeaways from each episode that we're gonna go ahead and repurpose uh on TikTok and Instagram stories. So you you may just get a little dose here and there as as you follow us, and you if you want the deep dive, the full episode, of course, those are gonna be available on demand for you to consume wherever you like.

SPEAKER_01:

And again, this podcast is brought to you by Light Company. That's right. It is a faith-based apparel company right here in Brevard County, Florida, aka 321, the countdown county. It is absolutely amazing, and again, faith-based streetwear unlike ever and ever seen before.

SPEAKER_02:

Yeah, no, no one no one's doing those things, uh, cruise coach. Um, and that that's what's great about kind of what we have going on. You know, we we we we're multi-faceted, right? Yes, sir. So not only are we passionate about where we live here on the space coast, but also talking about the space coast and all the cool things, plus what we love about cruising and in the cruise industry and uh and also uh faith, bringing people together of faith. Um you you better know that if if you came to us and said, Well, I have a I have a uh group uh in my church and we like to do things, well yeah, we'll we'll we'll we'll coordinate. We'll make sure that we give you a very cool vacation experience like no other. And it could be again, it could be the singles group at your church. It could be uh the all all men, all women, you know. So r if you want to plan a retreat, however deep you want to go, there's nothing we haven't seen so far. That's uh we could accommodate whatever your thoughts are. So from retirement parties, graduation parties, you name it, we're here for you. You want to renew your vows on board. I'm not the captain you're gonna have wed you, but on every ship that there is a captain, and uh and and by maritime law, they have the authority to renew your vows or get married. So again, whatever you want to plan, we're we'll we're right there with you and we're gonna make that experience uh over the top for you.

SPEAKER_01:

I love that, Jesse. You know, and it's so much you you it's it's so so important, right? Yes, we're doing a podcast, but ultimately we're serving the vacation nation, right? It's biblical. What this this pod this podcast is biblical because all we want to do is be there for our clients, right? Yes, it it's all great to get on a cruise ship, but if you don't do it with your heart and mind, what are we doing, right? So much in our society, unfortunately, is dark. That's why sharing our light, sharing our purpose, the why has to make sense. Right. And again, it is so much. It's not about me, it's about we, and it's not about us, it's about him, right? If we don't talk about the Lord on a podcast and we don't pray out at the end of the podcast, this podcast isn't worth two seconds.

SPEAKER_02:

Well, that's definitely not what we uh have been, you know, leading up and conspiring to provide for our our our audio uh audience and the vacation nation. So after about uh almost 40 minutes has lapsed, um, why don't you lead us in uh in a nice little goodbye uh prayer and give us nice thought and uh and thank you so much for for tuning in, everybody.

SPEAKER_01:

Dear Lord, we love you and we thank you. We thank you for every opportunity and every blessing, Lord. We just pray that you'll be with the Peer Pressure Podcast and the Vacation Nation. We pray that you'll go ahead and um just go ahead and touch every viewer, every listener that's going on right now, everyone who's listening to Peer Pressure Podcast, Lord. We know it's not about us. We know it's about your light and your light to shine through us in all that we do. We pray for a hedge of protection around all those sailing uh here in in Port Canaveral and Miami and all those sailing all across the world. We pray that their mental health will be affected. We pray that you'll go ahead and just continuously shine your light in a dark world that we have around us, Lord. We pray for all those who are on board serving, just like we are here with this podcast, Lord. We pray that you will be a light to those. And if no one has a relationship with you, simply through this podcast, they will go ahead and see your light. We know that we are simply the beacons, we are simply the lighthouses, Lord, for your light, and we pray for all those involved. We love you and we thank you. In your name we pray.

SPEAKER_02:

Amen. And with that, thank you so much. Enjoy the track as we head on out. And until next time, guys, may your cruisings be far, wide, and just beautiful. And uh we'll talk next episode. Follow us and we'll take you somewhere.

SPEAKER_00:

There you go. It's time to cruise all day and night.
